OUR STANDARD ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS
We offer two standard systems for enclosures of any dimension. To create these enclosures, Front Panel Designer includes a housing tool that enables you to create all the housing sections you need with just a few clicks and to select the right accessories. These enclosures can be designed as tabletop or 19" rack enclosures. Within the script you are free to design all the housing sections any way you want. But that's just with our enclosure generator, once you get the hang of how the enclosure components fit together you can create them any way you see fit. ENCLOSURE WITH SIDE PROFILES
This enclosure is assembled from two identical side profiles with fixed heights (either 42 mm or 56 mm), two side panels and two cover panels. The width and depth of the housing can be freely defined. The matching assembly kit can be included when ordering. This enclosure enables circuit boards to be inserted.
ENCLOSURE WITH HOUSING PROFILES
This enclosure is assembled from four housing profiles, two side panels and four cover panels. The width, height and depth of the housing can be freely defined. The matching assembly kit can be included in delivery.
SKAARHOJ/SCHAEFFER ENCLOSURE SCRIPT
The housing tool included in Front Panel Designer is based on script developed by the company SKAARHOJ. Editable script is included in delivery. SKAARHOJ has also written other scripts that you can download here. Some of these scripts create other types of enclosures and are introduced and explained in the videos by Kasper Skårhøj linked below.
Enclosure with Side Profiles
Enclosures with side profiles of 42 mm or 56 mm in height are easy to put together using the Schaeffer Enclosure Script.
Enclosure with Housing Profiles
For enclosures with freely definable dimensions housings with enclosure profiles are the right choice.
Desk housing
Desk housings are more demanding in terms of planning. The script saves you the bothersome calculations.
U-housing
The folding principle provides an inexpensive alternative: Create housings from only two front panels, which you fold along bending grooves to form two U-profiles that can be put together.
RASPBERRY PI HOUSING
Based on his folding enclosure scripts, Kasper Skårhøj has developed a script for us especially for the Raspberry Pi. You can, of course, also use the principle of this housing for other applications.
