For a D-hole, which can be either single, double or quadruple, first select Insert > D-hole and place the object. In the subsequent dialog box "D-hole properties", you can then determine all the desired properties. |
The D-hole is achieved by indenting arc segments in the drilled hole . Therefore the D-hole is flattened on a corresponding number of sides. The single D-hole with one flattened side is required, for example, as a mounting hole for corresponding BNC sockets (see picture below). The double D-hole has two opposing flat sides, while the quadruple D-hole has four flat sides at right angles to each other. |
