Search for items

This dialog box is used to find all the objects you need to build an enclosure and to include them in your shopping cart. The profiles can also be adjusted in length.

To find a desired item, you can use the manufacturer and category search to create relevant extracts of the stock list, which can be further refined with the "full-text search" (see next entry). The list box for "manufacturers" is not currently subdivided.

The following choices are available to you in the "category" list box (for further explanations of the entries, see "stock list"):

If you click the "List items" button, all of the available items in the selected category are displayed. You can further refine your search with an entry in the "full text" input field (see next entry "full-text search")

The complete stock list is shown if the entry "(all)" is selected in each of the list boxes, and the input field for the full-text search is left empty.

You can use the full-text search to refine the category search (see previous entry), or for example to specifically find a particular item from the following lists for the assembly of a particular enclosure.

•	Optionally, you can limit the full-text search to specific items by selecting a category.

•	To perform a full-text search enter the text fragment in question into the appropriate input field and then click the button "List items".

•	All of the items from the stock listwhich both correspond to the selected category (optional) as well as contain the text fragment entered in one or more of their properties, are accordingly listed in the table of "Items found".

The complete stock list is shown if the entry "(all)" is selected in each of the list boxes, and the input field for the full-text search is left empty.

For a single enclosure of the "Side profile" model, you will need:

Please select the sequence of numbers and figures from the "Full-text" column in the tables below, with which you can perform a full-text search to display the respective item before placing it in your cart.

For a "Side profile" model enclosure you need two identical profiles. You can specify or adapt the length of the chosen model both in the "Items found" and in the "shopping cart" view.

To assemble the profiles for "Housing profile 2" models, you require, in addition to the assembly kit for the assembly of profiles of "Housing profile 2" models, a further assembly kit to fasten 2 of the 4 cover panels with square nuts which are fed into corresponding grooves in the profiles.

In order to select either the Standard assembly kit or the corresponding screw packets, please see the previous section on Housing profile 1.

The required additional assembly kit consists of 12 screws M3 x 4 mm (1.5 mm cover plates) or M3 x 5 mm (2.0 to 2.5 mm thick cover plates less cavity) acc. to DIN 7985, 965 or 966 and 12 square nuts M3 acc. to DIN 562. The screws are supplied either nickel-plated, white or black galvanized, the nuts are always white galvanized.

To assemble the profiles for the "Housing profile 2" model, you basically need two different types of screw: In addition to the type required for the assembly of profiles of "Housing profile 2" models, a further type is required to fasten 2 of the 4 cover panels with square nuts which are fed into corresponding grooves in the profiles.

To select standard type screws, please see the previous section on Housing profile 1.

A screw packet for the additional mounting of the cover panels consists of 50 screws M3 x 4 mm (1.5 mm cover sheets) or M3 x 5 mm (2.0 to 2.5 mm thick cover plates less cavity) according to DIN 7985, 965 or 966. In addition, you always require the same number of M3 square nuts acc.to DIN 562.

The use of a housing bracket is recommended from a width of 150 mm (for housing profiles this also applies analogously to the height). For construction details please refer to the "Manual for Enclosure Assembly" .

Use the required number of housing brackets to stabilize the enclosure.

If you press the button "Remember this search..." after a full text search, a dialog box pops up to enter a name for the search.

If you then select the appropriate entry in the list box "Memorized search" both the related text will be entered into the input field for the full-text search, as well as the related entries restored in the four list boxes.

Certain items in the list of "Items found" can have their properties customized, e.g. the length of housing profiles. You can set the order quantity to the desired number for every item.

Both of these steps can also be taken in the table overview in your Shopping cart or settings that have been made corrected there.

In the upper section of this tab you will see a list of items that are currently in your shopping cart.
